Exciting New Service for Our Members: Employee/Volunteer Assistance Programme

After months of planning and collaboration, I am thrilled to announce that Argyll and Bute TSI has launched a brand-new Employee/Volunteer Assistance Programme, thanks to our partnership with Spectrum Life. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to supporting our dedicated Third Sector workers and volunteers.

In today’s world, many larger organisations provide their staff with access to assistance programmes that offer crucial support services. However, these services often come with significant costs that are beyond the reach of most Third Sector organisations, which operate on tight budgets and are staffed primarily by volunteers. Recognising this gap, we have worked tirelessly to ensure that such support is accessible to all our members, free of charge.

What This Means for Our Members

Our new programme offers a comprehensive range of services, including:

  • Mental Wellbeing Support
  • Financial Assistance
  • Life Coaching
  • Career Counselling
  • Consumer Advice
  • Mediation
  • Support for Non-Nationals and Families
  • Legal Assistance
  • Support for Depression, Anxiety & Stress
  • Support with Grief & Bereavement
  • Support with Addictions
  • Support with Relationship & Marital Problems
  • Support with Work Stress & Work-life Balance Issues

In addition, the programme includes a variety of well-being plans that focus on fitness, nutrition, digital gym access, self-guided meditation, and a series of informative podcasts. These resources are designed to help our members lead healthier, more balanced lives.

How to Access These Services

To benefit from this incredible programme, simply register as a member of Argyll and Bute TSI on our website. Membership is free for community groups in our region. Once registered, your organisation can distribute the assistance programme details to your staff and volunteers. It’s a straightforward process that opens up a wealth of support options for your team.

Ensuring Confidentiality and Professionalism

All information shared through the programme is held securely and confidentially, with Spectrum Life being accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. This ensures that our members receive professional and trustworthy support.

Good morning. How do I access the volunteer support programme? I am registered, signed in but can’t see any link to what services we can contact. I have made an appointment for Janis to come to ARC to meet us and advise us.
Kind regards Viv Hamilton

Hi Viv,
When logged into our membership area, you should see a menu option on the right. This contains the link and organisation code you will need to register onto the Spectrum website where you can access all the support options.
